I will adapt this story into the time period of WW2 basing it from my Grandmother's experience as an evacuee and being sent to live in a house in the woods with a woman she refers to as a witch.
Adapting the ginger bread house from Hansel and Gretel into a building made from different foods and rationed items of that time, viewing the countryside through child's perspective coming from only knowing food from a tin in the city, to where food comes from and everything seeming to be made of food.
