Repulsion: Mise en scene Film Review

  1. Hi Tom,

Once again, not a lot I need to say really - you have analysed the psychological aspects of this film really well.
Just your last paragraph doesn't seem to quite make sense...I think it's the way the quote has been introduced and inserted. Maybe this would have been a bit flowing...

The use of the set helps the apartment become its own character, transforming around her and trying to envelope her into her hallucinated world, and as film critic Iain Mckay states in Repulsion, 'A potent cocktail of sexual repression, madness and violence, this chiller is one of Roman Polanski's best. (Mckay, 2006) and, due to the production design, this is what makes this film work so well as a psychological thriller.'

Other than that, keep up the good work!
